    Krishna Meets Uttanka

Once Yudhisthira was crowned the king of Hastinapur, Krishna decided to return to Dwarka. On his way, he met a sage called Uttanka. He asked Krishna all about the war. Krishna told him Uttanka refused to accept water from a man of low casteeverthing. Uttanka was furious and thought that Krishna should have stopped the war. Krishna then appeared in his divine form and Uttanka was delighted. Krishna told him to ask for a boon. The sage said, "Whenever I want water, it should be available." Krishna blessed Uttanka and went away. Some days later, Uttanka was travelling across a desert and felt thirsty. Soon after, a man from a low caste appeared with water. Uttanka refused to accept water from him. Later, Krishna appeared and told Uttanka that the man was actually Indra in disguise. Uttanka was very ashamed of his behaviour.
